The Research Chatbot provides a ChatGPT-like experience, but with the added security of being hosted exclusively on Tufts servers and therefore not exposing your data and interactions to a third party. This session walks researchers through launching and using the Research Chatbot, an Open OnDemand app built on Ollama and OpenWebUI that runs on Tufts HPC GPU nodes. We'll cover how to start a session, choose from the available model catalog, and use the chatbot for research tasks, along with guidance on appropriate data classification for what you can safely share.
Note: please register at least 5 days in advance to ensure enough time to create an HPC cluster account.
